iDO Devices secures $4M seed to grow India’s ODM circuit

iDO Devices Private Limited, an original design manufacturer (ODM) based in India, has raised $4 million in a seed round led by Blume Ventures and Merak Ventures. This capital will enable iDO Devices to scale production of custom-designed hardware for tech brands, refine its in-house design capabilities, and streamline its supply chain network.

The company intends to invest in engineering, R&D, and manufacturing workflows to meet growing demand from Indian and global hardware brands seeking ODM partners. With electronics manufacturing becoming a national priority under “Make in India,” iDO stands to leverage government incentives and growing domestic demand for locally-manufactured product hardware.

In a market often dominated by import-led hardware, this raise reflects rising investor confidence in domestic design + manufacturing stacks. iDO’s focus on ODM design and fulfillment could help reduce dependency on external manufacturers and improve speed-to-market for emerging hardware brands in India.
