Vama.app, a spiritual / devotional content and community platform, has raised ₹22 crore in its latest financing round led by existing investor Wavemaker Partners, with support from 500 Global, Sadev Ventures, Venture Catalysts, Silverneedle Ventures, and various angels.

With this backing, Vama aims to build richer content experiences, improve community engagement tools (chat, live, Q&A), and scale its user base across India’s devotional market. Its premium content and community monetization models will also get a fresh boost.
This round underlines investor interest in niche content + community platforms that tap into deep cultural audiences.
