Contrails AI, a startup focused on trust & safety tooling (content moderation, abuse detection, platform security), has raised $1 million in a pre-seed funding round co-led by Huddle Ventures and IAN Group. This platform aims to offer scalable moderation pipelines and AI models to emerging platforms grappling with abuse, fake content, and community trust issues.

With the funds, Contrails AI plans to enhance its core models (harm detection, context awareness), integrate with platform APIs, and ramp its engineering and data science teams. It will also pilot with niche social, gaming, and content platforms to validate use cases.

In a time when digital platforms are under greater scrutiny globally, trust & safety infrastructure is a foundational piece of sustainable platform growth—and Contrails is building for that regime.
